Hi Guys,
I just wanted to share my bitter experience with ING Vysya bank from the time I have taken home loan on the advice of one of my friends.
I have repaid this loan for the last 2 years and the banks have increased my home loan interest 7 times.
Even though I was surprised initially, later on I convinced after knowing the home loan interest rates fluctuate periodically due to RBI guidelines.
In ING Vysya they practice a peculiar procedure which you cannot see anywhere. When the interest rates go upward they are quick to effect it and inflate the EMI.
On the other hand, if the interest rates come down and all other banks reduce the rates, ING Vysa does not act at all. If you ask, they always say that their management has yet to decide on reduction on loan interest.
Whenever there is an increase in interest rates they will insist you to pay cash immediately to cover the difference between old EMI and new one. Otherwise they will ask you to pay a lump sum as part payment and continue to pay the existing EMI without any change.
Their customer service system is pathetic, you will never be able to speak to a human being to vent out your grievances. If you are lucky to catch someone on the phone, he would pass the bugs to others and will not give you any direct answers.
This is the worst banks that I have ever seen and would never recommend this to anyone.
